The decision to study herbalism came when she decided to learn more about living off the land and using the land for healing. She launched Ivy's Tea Co. in November 2016. Since then, the brand has transformed into the Hip-Hop inspired tea company you shop from today. Through Ivy's Tea Co., Shanae hopes to change the way you see tea drinkers and introduce more African holistic health remedies into the holistic health industry. The goal is to make the industry as inclusive and reflective and accepting of all cultures as Hip-Hop. The name CaJoSe is a mashup of the names of 3 of the owner's 4 children. It was founded out of necessity due to Jen’s children having eczema and she wanted to create a topical solution to their dry, rough and itchy skin because none of the readily available creams/ointments were working. She wasn’t too fond of the idea to put steroids on her young children’s skin, so she set out to create something better. Meet Jen
Jen Stone is the Mixtress Mistress at CaJoSe Natural. A 33-year-old wife and mom of 4, she is originally from Chicago and moved to the Atlanta area 7.5 years ago.
Jen created CaJoSe Natural with moms in mind, wanting to give those who felt hopeless in terms of finding the right solution to their kids’ skin issues a completely natural remedy. After some research and some trial and error, she stumbled upon the perfect formula that actually works on a continuous basis!
